Does the interior finish change the light?
Yes. The interior finish affects both the appearance and quality of light. Gold and reflective finishes create a warmer, more focused glow, while matte white provides softer, more neutral illumination. Textured finishes such as concrete or stone create a more diffused effect.
Can Hemisphere lights be used outdoors?
Yes, selected materials are suitable for outdoor use. Polyethylene, composite, and fiberglass are recommended for exterior applications. Rattan is best for indoor or covered outdoor spaces, while metal suitability depends on the selected finish.
Can I choose a custom color?
Yes. Selected shades can be produced in custom Pantone or brand colors, making the collection particularly suitable for hospitality, retail, and commercial projects.
What kind of light does the Hemisphere create?
The open shape directs light downward and outward, creating a wide, soft pool of illumination. Reflective interiors provide a stronger, more defined effect, while matte and textured finishes create softer, more diffused light.
Can different finishes be combined?
Yes. Different interior and exterior finishes can be mixed within a row, cluster, or larger composition to create contrast, rhythm, and visual depth.
What sizes are available?
Hemisphere lights range from approximately Ø: 9.84″ (25 cm) to Ø: 35.43″ (90 cm) and larger for selected custom designs. Mounting requirements are specified according to the size, weight, and material of each fixture.
Are the concrete and stone finishes real textures?
Yes. These are dimensional textured surfaces, not simply printed patterns. Concrete uses a cement-based composite finish, while the stone effect uses a mineral-based coating to create natural depth and variation.
Can I request a finish outside the standard collection?
Yes. We offer custom finishes for hospitality and commercial projects. A material sample, Pantone reference, or architectural finish can be provided for matching, followed by a production sample for approval before the full order is made.
