A Private Villa — Marbella, Spain, Residential

The hard part was never assembling forty individual pieces. It was making them read as a single idea.

That’s exactly what the ANIME chandelier does here.

THE APPROACH

✓ Individually suspended pendant modules — each one a 5.5-inch-diameter, 6.3-inch-tall shell (Product 055-071), hung on its own cable at its own drop length, so the composition reads as a cascade rather than a repeated module

✓ Rock crystal carpet lining the curved interior — a built-up texture of individual crystal facets, not a printed or painted finish, so light catches irregularly across every shell rather than uniformly

✓ Dual LED module at 3000K — one light aimed upward into the crystal coating to make it sparkle, one aimed downward for ambient output, both nearly invisible inside the shell

✓ Metal exterior in a choice of six finishes — 24-karat gold, satin gold, gold leaf, silver leaf, shiny nickel, or nickel-black — so the same module reads differently depending on the specification

✓ Custom multi-drop configuration — the same module (max single-drop height 78.74 inches) assembled by the dozens at varying heights and cable lengths, scaled to the exact stairwell it hangs in

THE RESULT

A chandelier that, in the manufacturer’s own description, seems to float elegantly and weightlessly in the room — dozens of individually lit, hand-finished shells catching daylight and evening light differently from every angle of the stairwell, unified by one ceiling canopy and one specification.

In a fixture built from this many individual pieces, the best design decision is making forty lights disappear into one.
